This complex and deep red wine is characterized by sweet cherry and red berry fruit notes with delicately spiced hints of tobacco, leather, cedar, white pepper and a touch of flint. It's well balanced on the palate, with velvety tannins, firm acidity and a lingering finish of rosemary and figs. Its structure will allow it to age for many years.

There's intensity to this red, which showcases flavors of cherry, boysenberry and blood orange, with iron, underbrush and tobacco notes peeking through as this builds to the lingering aftertaste. Verges on racy courtesy of the bracing acidity, with excellent length. Sangiovese, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink now through 2040. 130,000 cases made, 90,000 cases imported.
