Framboise, cherry and currant flavors are intense and focused, with a complex beam of rosemary and cigar box notes, backed by dense, sink-your-teeth-into-them tannins that add rich density. Finishes with fragrant accents of violet and white pepper. Drink now through 2035. 16,000 cases made, 4,500 cases imported. — MW
The 2017 Angel's Share Shiraz comes out of the chute with tarry, rubbery aromas that quickly give way with aeration to more appealing notes of charred meat, black olives and boysenberries. It's medium to full-bodied, with supple tannins and a silky, crisp finish. Drink it over the next 3-4 years.
