The 2016 Merlot H3 is a pure expression of a Merlot that has a fresh and fruity nose, showing a mix of American and French oak aromas. Sweet vanilla and toasted coconut, Juicy red plum and dark cherries all can be tasted on the medium-bodied palate with soft floral flavors. Ending with a good, clean finish, the wine is easy-drinking and delivers well for the price.

Pitted dark cherry and vanilla aromas lead to light but creamy feeling fruit and barrel flavors. The oak plays a large part in the show, but it largely works.
