Giesen Sauvignon Blanc 2019
|Region||New Zealand, Marlborough|
There's some flinty, oniony reduction at first sniff, but also plenty of passion fruit, pineapple, crushed green herbs, tomato leaf and fresh green bean aromas. Slippery in texture and prickly with acidity, white spice and seashell characters round out the green herbs and subtle fruit. Simple but balanced and refreshing.
Citrus and green grassy notes are light and lively, with a hint of peach blossom on the crisp finish. Drink now. 110,000 cases imported.
