Hampton Water Rosé 2020
A light garrigue character sits atop the bouquet of this dainty and pretty rosé, made from 60% Grenache, 15% Cinsault, 15% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah. Underlying tones suggest white raspberry, currant and strawberry hull. The palate is light and vibrant, with brisk acidity and tangy citrus and tart-berry flavors that lend additional verve and lift through the close.
A creamy rosé, with hints of richness to the ripe melon and tangerine flavors. Elements of rose water, spice, currant and garrigue echo on the long finish. Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Syrah. Drink now. 50,000 cases made, 25,000 cases imported.
A joint venture with Bon Jovi, the 2019 Languedoc Rose Hampton Water is a blend of 60% Grenache, 15% each Cinsault and Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah. Medium-bodied, it's a bit richer and weightier than many of its lifestyle competitors, with assertive flavors of red berries, melon and citrus. It's a solid, well-made wine from a label that probably doesn't have to be.
