Lots of sweet-tobacco and currant aromas with hints of fresh flowers. Medium to full body, chewy tannins and a savory finish. Old vines give real character. Better to drink after 2021, but already beautiful.

Made with grapes from an old vineyard in Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo, revived using biodynamic techniques, this Cabernet Sauvignon was aged in French oak, one-third of it new, for six months. Bright red in the glass, it offers black currant, herbs and roasted bell pepper, a hardy texture and elegant, active, grippy tannins. A little austere in the mouth, it is medium-bodied with well-defined flavors and a lengthy finish.
