Very nice deep ruby red color, the wine has a distinct Cabernet Sauvignon character, with deep and pleasant blackcurrant and cherry notes. A big wine, yet elegant, it has a full body and promising tannins, abundant and mature. A very sophisticated wine with a delightfully long aftertaste. Being an elegant wine with smooth tannins and good presence, this Kaiken Ultra Cabernet Sauvignon is better served previously decanted for 30 minutes. This will allow for oxygenation, thus showing the best of this Cabernet Sauvignon, with its delicious load of flavors and aromas. Serve at 15-17°C (59-63°F), with game and complex preparations, or simply enjoy it with mature cheeses.

Lots of sweet-tobacco and currant aromas with hints of fresh flowers. Medium to full body, chewy tannins and a savory finish. Old vines give real character. Better to drink after 2021, but already beautiful.

Standard Cabernet aromas of dark plum and berry fruits set up a clamping palate, with grating tannins. Smoky dark-plum and blackberry flavors finish rough and tough, with mild heat and unresolved tannins that grate and grind. Time in the bottle will only help this along; drink through 2028.
