The 2020 Malbec Reserva from Mendoza is partially aged in used barrels. A vivid purple in hue. The nose displays sour cherry, ripe plum and hints of sweetbrier. It's indulgent and juicy in the mouth with reactive tannins that corset the flow before oaky flavors develop at the end. A well-made, refreshing wine in spite of the warm year.

A plump red, with juicy berry and plum flavors and subtle herb and slate notes, which fold in around suave tannins on the finish. Drink now. 100,000 cases made, 27,000 cases imported.

The warm and dry vintage seems to be reflected in the ripe and mellow 2020 Reserva Malbec, which was produced with grapes from over 100 different plots across Mendoza and matured in well-seasoned and neutral oak barrels. It has something balsamic, even minty, and the oak feels neatly integrated, coming through as soft and harmonious, varietal and easy to drink, with just a spicy twist from the oak. 1.2 million bottles.
