Dark florals, brown spice, black cherries and hints of sage form an alluring bouquet as the 2019 Sinuoso opens up in the glass. It’s soft and pliant in feel, with masses of ripe red and black berry fruits tinged with saline-minerals, and sweet violet florals that form toward the close. Fine tannins come forward, framing the experience nicely, as notes of plum and lavender slowly fade. The 2019 Sinuoso may already be quite enjoyable, but it’s also packed full of medium-term cellar potential. This is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Montepulciano.
