This is packed together, with taut iron cables providing a platform for mouthwatering bitter plum, cassis and blackberry reduction flavors. Massively ripe and densely concentrated, this sun-drenched wine boasts flavors of black plum and wild raspberry that are unctuous and roasted. The powerful, delicately spicy and smoky Grenache maintains the finesse and precision you expect from Saint Cosme. Fine, supple tannins and ample fruit make the wine welcoming young but it will improve through 2035.

The 2019 Gigondas Les Claux is one of the powerful yet elegant wines and offers a great bouquet of red and black fruits, graphite, crushed stone, and spice. It's full-bodied and tannic and needs time, but the balance is spot on, the tannins are perfectly ripe and polished, and it has a gorgeous finish. Give it 2-4 years and enjoy over the following 15+

Dark magenta. Vibrant cherry, black raspberry and candied flowers, plus a hint of blood orange and exotic spices, are highlighted on the incisive and finely detailed nose. Juicy and lithe on the palate, offering intense, mineral-accented red fruit, lavender, vanilla and baking spice flavors that stain the palate while showing no excess far. Closes extremely long and alluringly sweet, with a repeating floral note, polished tannins and a late touch of star anise.
