Each double barreled single barrel is unique. Some barrels are sweeter with notes of chocolate, cinnamon, and toasted marshmallows that flow into baking spices. Other barrels are more savory with notes of dark red fruits, nutmeg, and black pepper spice.

Earthy, dry, and closed on the nose at first, with undertones of dried raspberry, dried banana, and apricot, opening up to vanilla and sweet banana. The palate is smooth and very well textured, balanced by dried herbs, strawberry jam, and pepper spice. The finish is long, smooth, and very dark-chocolaty, also offering lightly sugared espresso, caramel, and cigar ash balanced by oak. A gorgeous balance overall.
