Overall, this is a well-made and impeccably balanced beer, albeit a bit straightforward. The malt leads the nose and palate, with forward biscuit, toasted grain and roasted nut notes throughout. It's medium bodied, with a touch of an earthy hop flavor to add structure and some tannic grip to the palate and finish.
