Pale gold color. Enticing, airy aromas of lemon zest and lime blossom are brought back to earth with those of bayleaf and wet flint. Fresh flavors of Asian pear and Honeycrisp apple are supported by abundant texture in the mid-palate. With vibrant acidity, typical of the extreme Sonoma Coast, this Chardonnay finishes with length and elegance.

This well-made, widely appealing wine is inviting in jasmine and orange-blossom aromas, with a tension of energy and focus in its well-integrated acidity. The oak is behaved and quietly complementary, boosting the hints of nutmeg and gingerbread.

The 2017 Chardonnay Sonoma Coast gives subtle notes of ripe pears, allspice and applesauce with pineapple and lemon juice sparks plus a hint of baking bread. Medium-bodied, elegant and refreshing, it has a lovely creaminess to the texture and touch of nutmeg on the savory finish.
Vinous

The 2017 Chardonnay (Sonoma Coast) is textured and inviting, with gently lilting fruit and lifted, precise aromatics that give the wine its distinctive feel. Hints of lemon, chamomile and apricot grace the soft finish. Understated and gracious, the Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is a pretty wine to drink now and over the next handful of years.
