Other vintages

This is a smoky and herbaceous version of the variety, with big, bold flavors of black cherry, blackberry and cured meat. Powerfully built in brawny tannin, it finishes soft and seductively.

The 2013 Merlot is somewhat narrowly constructed, but pleasant, with notes of plum sauce, cherries, earth and spice. Some background oak is present as well and the wine is medium-bodied, rather classic, but not as hedonistic as most Merlots from Napa. Drink it over the next 5-7 years.
