“This is a classic Napa Cabernet led by bold black fruit flavors, primarily black cherry and black currant, with elements of espresso and dark chocolate intertwined between the layered dark fruit notes. A wine of quality and depth, refined elements of oak showcase a composition built for aging, yet balanced, well-integrated tannins allow this wine to show beautifully for those unwilling to wait.”

The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Iron Corral Estate is rock-solid, with a rich, velvety, medium to full-bodied profile that's very much in the style of the vintage. Nicely balanced, with lot of redcurrants, spiced plum, cedary incense, and tobacco, it has outstanding balance as well as length on the palate. It's well worth seeking out.

Fresh and direct, with cassis, raspberry and red licorice notes enlivened by a hint of bramble and touch of applewood on the finish. Drink now through 2032. 5,004 cases made.

An affordable, approachable wine with small amounts of Malbec and Petit Verdot, this is a full-bodied, smoothly integrated expression of plush, lush texture and robust fruit. Boysenberry, black cherry and cinnamon glide easily across a soft, rich palate.

A new wine, blended of Mount Veeder and valley-floor fruit, the 2019 Hess Collection Cabernet Sauvignon Iron Corral saw approximately 40% new French oak. The nose boasts slightly lifted aromas of cedar, caramel, cassis and black cherries, while the full-bodied palate starts a bit tannic but turns soft and easygoing on the finish. Drink this blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 7% Malbec and 2% Petit Verdot on the young side.
