Deep purple black color. Intense prune and cherry aromas with hints of cedar and eucalyptus. On the palate the wine is firm and lean with good balance and texture. Rich flavors of raisin and prune are complemented by attractive delicate, scented flavors of resin and cedar.

Wonderful aromas of blackberry, lilac and a bit of stems. Full-bodied, with silky tannins, medium sweetness and a long finish. Solid. Needs a little time still. Seems to be coming together now. '77/'85/'97 blind Port retrospective. Best after 2008.
