Fruity, smooth and slightly spicy, this medium-bodied wine is a crowd-pleaser. Still one of the best Chardonnays with the broad California label designation, it offers delicious peach, ginger and vanilla flavors, and a good balance between ripeness and crispness.

The 2018 Chardonnay Vintner's Reserve, the Kendall-Jackson flagship, is gorgeous. Pretty tropical accents add complexity to a core of citrus and floral notes. Orange confit, white and yellow flowers and mint all grace this delicious, inviting Chardonnay. This is such a pretty wine.

Coming mostly from Monterey County and just about all barrel fermented, the 2018 Chardonnay Vintner's Reserve reveals a medium gold hue as well as a ripe, exotic bouquet of pineapple, melon, and a touch of caramelized peach. It's nicely balanced, has good acidity, and is a terrific, balanced Chardonnay that would be a great house white.
